Another great performance from all the Music Rocks Stars at The Shed on Saturday. My daughter has been a Music Rocks participant for 3 years and is an all star now and it is great to see her up there calm as ever performing to the crowd, their version of Last Friday Night almost made me a Katey Perry fan (almost!!) and to the guys (Steph, Hayley sorry they are the only two I know go Lathlain girls!!) their version of "I will survive" brought me to tears, so impressed! To Lance, thanks for all your hard work with the Thursday evening group and to Dean, what can I say, you have no idea what impact you have on these kids and the positive impression you have made on all of us, you are one in a million!

Im the Father of Jene and Jarrod Jackman Skele who are ten and eight years of age and are participants and preformers of this fantastic experience that Music Rocks Australia has organised. They both are about to participate in there second preformance at The Shed in Northbridge. I have sat through practice sessions at Hillcrest Primary School and have noted the excitment of the children. I have also seen the dedication of Dean taking the young rockers along the process of what it takes to do this. His way with the children is awsome and both they(chidren) and myself are totaly energised by the opportunity to practice and then preform at a professional level. My children continually want to practice, research the songs and use my instuments,(they have there own to)in which Im so proud of thier dedication. Not only are they playing contemporary songs but also the classics of Rock which is resulting in the neighbours and the district to Im sure tap there feet. With all the negitive violence and vandalism of some of our youth in the wider community, Music Rocks offers a Ray of Light and sound alternative to keep the children inspired and of the street, creating and not destroying with all there wonderful energy. I highly recommend this initative and know that in the future we may see some of these little talents achieving thier goals in Music and in Life. Thank you Dean for your unflaging effort and thanks children.
Regards Jason skele.

Cailtin is now a Year 9 who is an emerging All-star with Music Rocks Australia... Maybe you could bring your Zoom Q3 to record some of your rehearsals to post on the website Cailtin?
